Received application u/s 22-A (6) (i) Cr.P.C from the court of Honourable Sessions Judge Ghotki for disposal according to law. The applicant is present in person. The ADPP is also present. Arguments heard. Order passed on searate sheet and announced. Undeniably Revenue Authorities as well as police officers concerned are by law boundto help out him subject to law and rules. Moreover the Sindh Transparency and Right to Information Act 2016 is also in field creating every citizen???s right of access to information in a rated and low cost manner to information under the control of Public Authorities but it is too painful to observe that it has been ignored. Undenaibly this court in capacity of an Ex-Officio Justice of Peace conferred by virture of Section 22-A subjection 6 clause I to iii lacks jurisdiction to pass an Order against Revenue Authorities thus prayer sought for by the applicant being beyond this court???s jurisdiction is hereby declined and application stands disposed of with liberty to applicant to avail legal remedy whateveris available to him subject to law as well as to file a complaint in this regard under section 11/12 under Sindh Act XV 2017 to Sindh Information Commission subject to law and rules applicable thereto. Parties are informed. File be consigned in the record room after its due completion and compilation. |
