The appeal has been pending since 19th November, 2025. Respondent No. 2, the Railway Department, has appeared through its representative but never submitted any application for providing a copy of the memo of appeal. Today, however, the learned Assistant Director (Legal), Mr. Sajid Ali, requested the Court to provide a copy of the memo of appeal. The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that a copy of the appeal had already been provided to the respondents despite of that he is ready to provide a fresh copy. The main grievance of the appeal is the attachment of the bank accounts of Finance or Railway Department. Respondent No. 3, the Finance Department, has already filed an application stating that they cannot attach the account of Railway Department and have no concern with the accounts of Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The learned counsel for the appellant shall provide copies of the memo of appeal to the concerned respondents. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 are directed to provide account number of the Railway Department on the next date of hearing and to appear before the Court to for hearing and objections by following the Sindh Civil Court Rules to provide the advance copy 2 days before the hearing of appeal in the office of this Court. Respondent No. 3 has already filed an application stating that it has no concern with the bank accounts of Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Accordingly, the main grievance in the present appeal pertains to Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, hence the matter will be heard finally. Put off to. 02.11.2026 |
