Statement of detainee Ameena Khatoon recorded by this Court wherein she stated that he she do not wish to return to her husband???s house under any circumstances, as she fear for her safety, life, and well-being and prayed that she may be allowed to go and reside with her father, Allah Wadhayo Bahalkani, who is present in the Court today, as she feel safe and secure residing at his home. Arguments heard from both the sides. Order also passed, signed and announced in open Court. For the reasons to be recorded, in view of the explicit statement recorded by detainee Ameena Khatoon, who is an adult female capable of determining her own welfare, she is set at liberty and allowed to go and reside with her father (the applicant), subject to the applicant furnishing a P.R bond in the sum of Rs.500,000/- (Rupees Five Lac Only) to the satisfaction of this Court for her protection and well-being. Consequently, thepurpose of the instant application stands served and the same is hereby disposed of accordingly. Such personal bond in the sum of Rs.500,000/- (Rupees Five Lac Only) furnished by the applicant/petitioner and custody of detainee Ameena Khatoon is handed over to him, accordingly. Let copies of this order be provided to the applicant and the local police for compliance and record. |
