Cr.M.A 22-A & B Cr.P.C called. applicant is called absent while his counsel Mr. Bhooro Mal is present. Reports received from official respondents which are taken on record. Arguments heard. Order passed and announced in open court, as per order, the request for registration of an FIR is refused. As regards the request for legal protection, it has been stated that, although the applicant approached the concerned SHO, legal protection was not extended to him. Legal protection, being a constitutional right available to every citizen, is allowed to the extent that the SHO of the concerned police station is directed to ensure legal protection to the applicant strictly in accordance with law and to submit a compliance report before this Court within 07 days from the receipt of this order. It is, however, made clear that this order shall, in no manner, be construed as conferring any advantage upon the applicant in respect of the aforesaid dispute, or in any civil litigation or other proceedings pending or to be initiated by or against either party. The application stands disposed of accordingly. Let the copy of order be sent to SHO concerned for information and compliance. |
