Today the Presiding Officer is on earned leave. Accused Furqan has not been produced by the jail authorities. The learned ADPP for the State and the learned defence counsel are present. Perusal of record reflects that vide order dated 20.11.2025, bail was granted to the accused in the sum of Rs. 30,000/- with a personal recognizance bond. The bail bond was furnished on 03.12.2025 and a release writ was accordingly issued. However, the accused continues to remain in custody owing to an inadvertent error in the release order, which now stands duly corrected. The Superintendent Jail is hereby directed to release the accused forthwith on bail, if he is not required in any other case. Matter is adjourned to 16.12.2025 for SOC. |
