Accused is taken into custody and remanded to central Prison Khairpur for want of surety, with directions to produce him on each date of hearing through video link. The present surety of accused is discharged. The demeanor/conduct of accused Irfan Ali before this court prima facie shows that he is mentally unstable and seems to be a drug addict. Therefore the Superintendent Central Prison Khairpur is directed to get the accused examined and assessed by the psychiatrist from the department of psychiatry and Behavioral Science, KMC Hospital Khairpur, under the proper and strong security arrangements and submit such report/opinion of the concerned psychiatrist before this court on or before the next date of hearing. In case the accused is requiring any necessary treatment the same will be proved to him as per law. Let the copies of order be communicated to the Superintendent Central Prison & C.F Khairpur, Head of Department Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, KMC Civil Hospital Khairpur and the Medical Superintendent, KMC Hospital Khairpur for information and compliance.
