The State, by the Honourable High Court of Sindh Karachi, communicated through the office of worthy Registrar, Honourable High court of Sindh Karachi, vide his good office letter No.GAZ/Circulation of judgment/SHC, dated 21.5.2025, whereby all the courts in Sindh province, including Special Courts previously constituted under the CNS Act, 1997 are restrained from assuming jurisdiction in relations to offences committed after the enforcement of Sindh Control Substances Act 2024, where proceedings have been initiated under the repealed law of control of Narcotics Substances Act 1997, therefore in compliance the above quoted order and seeking guidelines from the same, the matter stands adjourned till receipt of further directions.
