Case called. Learned counsel for the plaintiff is present. Perusal of the record reveals that summons issued to the defendant were duly served through the bailiff by way of affixation/pasting in the presence of two witnesses. The service report has been received and is taken on record. Further, publication in the Daily Express dated 26.02.2026 has also been received and is placed on record. It is observed that despite due service effected on the previous date of hearing, the defendant has failed to appear before the Court. Being satisfied with the mode and manner of service adopted by the plaintiff, the service upon the defendant is hereby held to be good and valid.
