However, it is clarified that the charge in the present case was ordinarily framed in accordance with law and in the presence of learned counsel for the accused. The declaration of juvenility does not render the charge illegal or void. The nature and substance of the accusation shall remain unchanged; nonetheless, the trial proceedings shall henceforth be conducted strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act and the procedure prescribed thereunder.
