Case called. Accused Ashraf, Mashooque, Ghulam Abbas, Balach @ Bala, and Kabeer are present on bail. ADPP for the State is present. Defence Counsel Mr. Muhammad Qazafi Brohi is present. The reference letter from the Honourable District & Sessions Court for sending this case to the Juvenile Court has not been received. However, as per order dated 30-11-2018 passed by the Honourable High Court, whereby Civil Judge-I & II are designated as Juvenile Courts, therefore, in compliance with the said order, this Court proceeded with the juvenile case. Today, the matter was fixed for charge. Charge was framed against all accused persons at Exh:06. All accused pleaded guilty at Exh:06/A to 06/E and submitted an application at Exh:07. The said application was considered and order was passed accordingly. Thereafter, show-cause notice was issued to the accused at Exh:08. The accused submitted their reply to the show-cause notice at Exh:09. Subsequently, order was passed and announced in open Court at Exh:10.The accused were convicted under Section 243 Cr.P.C. and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs. 500/- each, and in case of default, to undergo Simple Imprisonment for three (03) days. (Fine paid).Whereas, accused Liaquat son of Reham Ali, by caste Dahani, was declared a Proclaimed Offender. The Court finds it appropriate to keep his case on the dormant file till his arrest. As per compliance of Letter No. 1062/MIT-II passed in Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 284/2018 by the Honourable High Court of Sindh, Karachi, received through the Honourable District & Sessions Judge, Jamshoro, the necessary compliance has been made. Office is directed to issue Perpetual warrant of arrest be issued against proclaimed offender Liaquat son of Reham Ali, by caste Dahani and letters to the Investigating Officer of the instant case and the SSP Jamshoro, directing them to submit a quarterly progress report regarding the arrest of the absconding accused. Now case is fixed on 09-04-2026 for progress report/compliance. |
