Case called. Accused Amjad is produced from Central Prison, Hyderabad, while accused Muhammad Nawaz is present on bail. The case of absconding accused Deedar Magsi, Irfan Laghari, and Murtaza Chandio has been bifurcated from this case. Learned Incharge SPP is present. Learned counsel Mr. Ashique Hussain is absent on behalf of accused Muhammad Nawaz, whereas learned counsel Mr. Aftab Ahmed is present on behalf of accused Amjad. Charge is framed against the accused at Ex.04. The plea of the accused has been recorded at Ex.04/A and 04/B, wherein the accused pleaded not guilty and claimed to be tried. However, accused Muhammad Amjad pleaded guilty, and his plea has been recorded at Ex.04/B. Show cause notice was issued to the accused, and he submitted his reply at Ex.05 and 06, respectively. Arguments heard. Judgment passed and pronounced in open Court, kept on record at Ex.07. Accused Amjad is convicted under Section 265-H(2), Cr.P.C, and sentenced to suffer imprisonment for two months, along with a fine of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only).
