Family Suit called. Plaintiff along with her counsel are present. Counsel for the defendant is also present. Today the cross examination of defendant could not be recorded as he has gone to Punjab as stated by his counsel. On the other hand the learned counsel for plaintiff state that plaintiff is not willing to take admitted articles in piecemeal because reconciliation talk are still going between the parties and after adducing evidence actual claims of dowry articles of plaintiff would be elucidated. The learned counsel for plaintiff also apprised that defendant since long is not paying interim maintenance as ordered by the court to which counsel for the defendant assured that by next date interim maintenance would be submitted. Record further reveals that on 17.05.2024, examination in chief of defendant was recorded and ever since the matter has not proceeded further due to reconciliation talks between parties for which their counsels so also court have made efforts but unfortunately it has not happened as yet. In the interest of justice and with the consent of parties matter is adjourned to 05.05.2026, for Cross of Defendant, with direction to parties to proceed with the matter other wise appropriate order will be passed. |
