Case called. Accused Waheed Ali is produced from Central Prison, Hyderabad, while accused Yousif Brohi, Sajjad Brohi, Rasoolo Burfat, Ali Akbar Machi, and Mst. Shabana have been declared proclaimed offenders. Learned SPP is present. Learned counsel Mr. Sadam Hussain is present on behalf of the accused. Accused Waheed Ali has submitted an application pleading guilty and has prayed for a lenient view (Ex.09). Show-cause notice was issued to the accused vide Ex.10. The accused submitted his reply to the show-cause notice, stating that his plea of guilt is voluntary and without any coercion or pressure, and again prayed for a lenient view (Ex.11). The learned SPP closed the side at Ex.12.Judgment has been passed, pronounced in open Court, and placed on record at Ex.13. Accused Waheed Ali is convicted under Section 265-F(2) Cr.P.C. and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for two (02) months with a fine of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand). In case of default in payment of fine, he shall suffer simple imprisonment for one (01) month. The benefit of Section 382-B Cr.P.C. has been extended to the accused. Copy of the judgment has been supplied to the accused. He is remanded to jail with directions to serve out the sentence.
