Today case was fixed for charge, but during the proceedings it transpired that accused Shaman son of accused budho is aged about 14 years which is admitted by the parties, and it is also evident from his physical appearance. Accordingly he has been declare a juvenile offender attracting the exclusive jurisdiction of the juvenile court as mandated under section 12(1) of the juvenile justice system act 2018.
