Case called. Accused is present on bail. Learned ADPP and defense counsel are present. Copy of police papers is supplied to accused as Ex 1. Accused has submitted an application requesting therein for framing of charge today as he is a resident of some other district and can not afford to bear the expenses of traveling. Order passed thereon. Charge against accused is framed as Ex 2 and his plea is recorded as Ex 2-A to which he pleaded guilty and prayed for mercy. Simultaneously the accused has been served with show cause notice u/s 243 Cr. PC to which he submitted his reply which is taken on record. Order passed and announced in open Court. Accused is convicted u/s 243 Cr. P.C and imposed fine of Rs 3000/-. In case of failure in payment of fine amount, the accused shall undergo SI for one fourth of the imprisonment. |
